It's been a while since I've been able to get together with the local plein air group, but Thursday was a lovely morning with no restrictions, and it was good to connect with the landscape again

There havent been any group activities in the are since June so it was good to get back to painting some live portraits again. The first one at the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop was on canvas that needed mor priming and it was a bit of an effort to scrub the paint into the canvas, so with the second one at Richmond Art Supplies I made sure the canvas was prepared and the paint flowed more easily.
It was touch and go, but the vaccination rates rose and the Covid cases declined, and a late decision was made by Hawkesbury Council to run the Hawkesbury Art Fair again this year. Not much time to prepare and more restrictions in place this time, but the exhibition did open on Monday 8th November at the Hawkesbury Regional Gallery, the Deerrubbin Centre in Windsor, and will run until 5th December.
