Welcome the  website of Hawkesbury Artist Malcolm Robertson. 

The Hawkesbury Valley where I live is about an hour's drive west of Sydney. It is a semi rural area starting at the confluence of the Nepean and Hawkesbury rivers and containing a large part of the Lower Blue Mountains. It is the largest council area in the Sydney region and is an area full of natural beauty and historical significance. 

 

I am the Current president of the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop on the Western Sydney University campus in Richmond NSW, where since 1978 the local community has been able to have have a hands on experience with the arts in the old Woolstore building through, Painting, Pottery, Printing and other arts, and with portrait and life drawing groups and workshops. We also have use of the old Piggery building, now converted to several studios where I also have a studio to work in. I am a regular life drawer, like to paint landscapes and portraits and have done several portrait demonstrations for Art Societies.
