Alan Chipperfield spends a lot of time restoring antique furniture, and tells me that because Chaise Lounges have always been made of a timber construction they have been restricted in their design, so he put his 85 year old mind to work to design a Chaise Lounge with a metal frame that is light and strong, with a greater curve on the arms, it can be fully utilized for length, and can be easily disassembled for transportation. It looks elegant and he is rather pleased with it!
