I thought I'd finally be able to get back to the two gum trees today after almost 2 weeks... but found some people camping on the exact spot! Determined to at least do something, I came home got something else to paint on and did at least manage a plein air. and a little portrait practice

I've forgotten about how refreshing still life painting can be, and intend to get back to them, a couple of quick studies. and starting a large version of the two gum trees
