This morning's portrait at the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop at the WSU in Richmond. Oil 16 x 20  This coming weekend (28th,29th October) the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop is having its annual exhibition in Windsor  and then next month (November) the Piggery Lane Studios will be open every Saturday from 10 -4, participating in the the Combined Art Societies of Sydney 'November is Art Month'  Back to our regular monthly portrait group at Richmond Art Supplies... an enjoyable subject to paint, 16 x 20 oil, about 100 minutes  ..I have very rarely been close enough to the sea to try plein air seascapes, but this week when the family had a little holiday up the coast I managed to get out a few times for some quick oil studies...from 45 minutes to a bit over an hour.  |
