Today's portrait at the Hawkesbury Community Arts Workshop, WSU Richmond  This weekend the Blue Mountains Creative Arts Centre is having a Members Exhibition at the Glenbrook Community Centre in Glenbrook, and after the life-drawing session today it was time for the set up, I decided to put four of my recent plein air tree studies.  As a lover of nature it's beyond me why anyone would want to attack a beautiful Gum tree in National Park with an axe!   I'll be helping to hang paintings at the Hawksbury Show today, so I feel obligated to put a couple of paintings in, these two are probably the most suitable ones that I have done recently   |
